Adventure at SKV: Reaching New Heights
Adventure is a way of life at SKV! In past expeditions, our spirited students and dedicated coaches have trekked to Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft), Baby Shivling (21,467 ft), Chandrakhani Pass (12,008 ft), and Surya Top (12,900 ft), to name a few.
From learning survival skills and setting up camps to conquering high-altitude trails, the expeditions were packed with challenge, teamwork, and self-discovery.
Students aspire to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels as part of the IAYP, in collaboration with India Hikes, the Youth Hostel Association of India, and other adventure organisations.
These adventures reflect SKV’s commitment to experiential learning—where courage, resilience, and a love for nature take centre stage.
